feeling: sleepy

here's a first little blog post for you! i have no idea if anyone will ever take a peek at these, but it's fun to throw your thoughts somewhere, isn't it?

i TRIED to find some journal memes on deviantart, but they're all pretty much impossible for me to read on dark mode, and i'm NOT turning that off. i like not having a headache, sorry.

unfortunately, pride month has been pretty boring for me. with finances as they are, i couldn't really do much, anyway. i'm kinda just holding on until i can get a student loan again, lol. to be fair, my area doesn't have a lot going on pride-wise until july, for whatever reason. they DO have an event where queer people can come and sell their stuff, though! i'm hoping to have a little bit of money to go to that. i trust the gays when it comes to creativity. it's kind of our thing. anyway, though, i hope pride month was enjoyable for the most part! i know we're living in some tough times right now.

in other news, paranorman is supposed to be coming out in theatres around halloween. i remember i watched it with my friend group back in high school, but i can't remember much else about it. i DO think i liked it, though! i'm hoping i can go with my partner in october :) speaking of my partner, our anniversary is soon! we usually don't make a big deal out of it, but i feel as though we have to do something special for 10 years. maybe a little shopping trip or day out somewhere if we can afford it. if not, i know there's places with great views around where we live. maybe something like that would be doable. provided my partner isn't working that day (and hopefully my allergies are better by then. i am ridiculously snotty right now).

i wanted to add more to this, but didn't feel like i should make a whole new entry, lol. i'm considering openning commissions! things are (as i mentioned) tight right now, so a tiny bit of extra money would go a long way, especially where i have to pay for medications. the thing is, though, i have no idea how to really go about them. my thought is that i'd have people interested shoot me an email where we can work out pricing, have them donate that amount to my ko-fi, and go from there... we'll see how it plays out. if i decide to go through with it (i probably will), i'll have a commissions page public in the sidebar :)
